In the song redeemed, I'd always thought the chorus started

"Goblins of Xerxes, villains of wise..."

but the lyric sites all list it as

"Goblins of surcease, villains..."

Surcease means to cause to cease....  it doesn't really make
sense to me, but listening back I can't now truly decide.
Anyone have any further info on this?  This has always been one of my
favorite songs...
