<<while I'm not into the Beatles enough to understand all the symbolism in it, I
knew enough to know that it was loaded with Beatles symbolism, and found it very
interesting (even if I didn't understand most of it).>>

Dear John,

True Beatles' fans must be going nuts over the video--disecting it frame by
frame. I have no such inclination. I save that level of fanaticism for BOC
material. Actually, the BOC mailing list and various WWW sites have been a real
boon. I had no idea what was really going on with BOC until I read the various
FAQs and websites...what happened to Albert and Joe, the Imaginos saga, etc.

My first introduction to BOC was through the 8 track version of Oyfooyk (hope I
got that initalism right <g>). After that I devoured their music and was lucky
enough to see them perform live three times. After Agents of Fortune (Rush
opened), same time frame in a stadium show with KISS, Johnny and Edgar Winter,
38 special and Bob Seegar <sp?>, and after Spectres (in the Fox theater in
Atlanta--some songs for Some Enchanted Evening were recorded then. I gather BOC
wanted more songs from that gig but some idiot in the audience kept firing
bottle rockets at the band. Finally, E. Bloom, acting as spokesman for the
band, stopped the concert and encouraged anyone standing next to the idiot to
cause the idiot to cease and desist. Actually, his wording was a little more
explicit than that, but no need to repeat it. Don't know what happened to the
idiot with the bottle rockets. Hope he got his comeuppance.

With best regard,
Richard
