Hawkwind losing steam?

With the recent posting of the track listings of the new HW album and EP, I'm really
beginning to worry that the band is running out of creativity. It sounds as though several
of these tracks are remakes of older songs. Granted, HW has been doing this for some
time, but I was never very fond of the idea. I'd like a new HW studio record which is
100% brand new material that we've never heard before. Since all their more recent
records have been about 80 minutes long, maybe they feel the urge to fill up all that
space however they can, even if that includes new renditions of old songs. And
although I like the ambient/instrumental stuff they've been doing of late, I hope they
don't use it as a crutch on the new record. Over-reliance on droning electronic mantras
might indicate a lack of new ideas. I don't want to find HW falling into a rut--something
they've never done before. But if this album is mainly ambient instrumentals and
remakes, it might be time to panic. What do you think, fans? Comfort me! Tell me I'm
paranoid and the new record will be OK after all!
