BOC set changes

I'm a list newbie and I joined because of my Hawkwind inclinations, but
somebody plucked my BOC string. (I still haven't figured out how these 2
bands came to be combined on this list.) I have to admit only a passing
interest in BOC. The reason was touched on by the person who wrote :

"jd> Burnin' For You
jd> Godzilla
jd> Don't Fear The Reaper

Personally, I wish they'd drop these three from the set entirely. They're
good
songs but you always *know* they'll play 'em. Too predictable."

(for some reason some of you get the real sender's name, but all I get is
"owner-boc-l")

I OD'ed on these songs when they were on active playlists. It got to the
point where they made my personal "change the station" list. Since I've
joined the list, I'd been considering giving BOC another chance and I love
most concerts, but hearing any or all of these songs would be a low point
for me. I had the same thing happen with "Stairway to Heaven," only much
faster. There is nothing (IMO) so compelling in these songs that even a
hard core fan wouldn't mind if they did something else instead. Who hasn't
heard them many times? They are certainly a repellent for this potential
fan. Sorry BOC people, I had to get this off my chest. Maybe this is the
1st step in my salvation.
