feeling very well lately. Anyway the show was at the Webster Theater.
A newly refurbished movie house. The sound was good the further back
you got from the stage. There was a delay in starting the show due to
some tech. problem with Al's guitar. After about a five or ten minute
hold up the band started the set with "STAIRWAY TO THE STARS". It was
excellent, very clean and crisp. From there they rolled into a funky
version of DR. MUSIC, it had a real good sound to it which included a
blistering solo by Buck. Up next was ODed "ON LIFE ITSELF" (one of my
personal favs). Al was wailing on guitar as was Buck. At the end of the
song there was a three way jam with Al, Buck and Eric. Nicely done.
After a little chatter from Eric (mentioning online fans) they started
up "E.T.I." played well with Eric on keyboards, Al on guitar and Buck
rocking the house down. After which Eric told the crowd that they are
going to play something off thier upcoming new album (hardy fucking
haha), "HARVEST MOON" this is really Bucks show pieceall the way, it
seemed to be written Bucks vocals and guitar in mind. Although Al has
one hell of a guitar solo near the end. From there it was on to "BEFORE
THE KISS...A RED CAP" then "I LIKE TO SEE YOU IN BLACK". After some
minor tuning it was time for "BUCK'S BOGIE" a true jam as it should be,
totally wailing. Next up is another personal fav of mine "TEEN ARCHER"
(if you haven't guessed yet I am a bit partial to Buck) Buck's vioce
was right on for this song as well. The next song "CITIES ON FLAME"
just peeled the paint right off the walls. The whole band really played
thier hearts out for this song. It was unfucking believeable. Then they
played "LAST DAYS OF MAY, IN THEE, LIPS IN THE HILLS". All pretty
standard stuff at this point but I never tire of it. At the start of
the next song "BURNIN FOR YOU" they blew the intro and had to start
over, pretty funny. Next was "GODZILLA" to this day I still understand
how this song became a hit. I really don't care for it unless I hear it
live. I think it was made to be heard live seeing as it has the drum
and bass solos. Of course the next song has to be "DON'T FEAR THE
REAPER", it started with Buck doing a spacey solo. The end.....

There was one oncore in which they played "DOMINANCE AND SUBMISSION,
and THE RED AND THE BLACK". All in all a very good show.

I would have liked to have been more descriptive but I am really not
feeling well. I am recovering from surgery in an attempt to save my
right leg. If it wasn't the BOC I wouldn't have even been out. But as
long as I can still breath I will be at thier shows.

Any question or comments let me know.
