Even at the height of Tommy mania in 1969, when I saw the Who they were
doing basically the 'Live in Leeds' set but with an extended 'Tommy'
section in the middle. I doubt that they did many shows without 'Young Man
Blues' 'Can't Explain' and 'Summertime Blues' even when Tommy was a hit. I
think BOC would have kept some familiar stuff in for encores even if they
had developed a full Imaginos show.
