hi,

among other things I've recently received a Warrior on the Edge of Time in
8-Track Cartridge format.

I've only seen this type of recorder once in my life, think it was 1975 or
so. The 8-Track format was a completely non success in Sweden, and I don't
know anything about the benefits of the Cartridge. Was there any?

However it seems to have 4 sides, with this tracklist:

1 - total time 11:12
    Assault & Battery Part I
    Golden Void Part II
    Spiral Galaxy 28948 (Part 1)

2 - total time 11:15
    Spiral Galaxy 28948 (Part 2)
    Warriors
    Dying Seas
    Kings of Speed

3 - total time 11:03
    The Wizard Blew His Horn
    Opa-Loka
    The Demented Man

4 - total time 11:02
    Magnu
    Standing At The Edge

this is an ATCO release with catalouge number ATC TP 36-115 0797

is anyone here old enough to someone explain the 4 sides?
the name "eight track" indicates 2 stereo tracks x 4 sides, but how did you
flip the sides, I mean flipping a compact cassette between both two sides
feels intuitive, but this...
has anyone heard the divided version of Spiral Galaxy?
where did they make the cut?
was it abrupt or smoothly running?

just curious - \\joe

yes - the plastic is pink!
why chasing a blue Levitation when you can find a pink Warrior..!
