BOC: Need Aid

Once again the FAQ proves to be a valuable BOC reference! :-)

Out of all the BOC compilations, I think the *On Flame With Rock And
Roll* is a rather interesting one, and is a decent thing for the
non-BOC fan that wants a cheap CD that will give them a flavor of
BOC. Sure, us BOC fans with all the CDs have little use for this
disc (unless you want to have a version of "Career of Evil" without
the "do it to your daughter" line). But, this CD can now be had in
most cut-out bins for about $5, and has the infamous "Big 3" BOC
hits, along with "Cities on Flame" and "Dominance and Submission" -
2 of BOC's stronger heavy songs. Not to mention an inclusion of
"Death Valley Nights", a great song which shows off some of BOC's
softer, yet still heavy side - and an interesting choice in that it
was never played live by BOC.

I'd recommend *Workshop of the Telescopes* to anyone not minding
dropping $20 on BOC if they wanted a more proper intro to BOC, but
if *On Flame w/Rock and Roll* can be found, it's a bargain for the
uninitiated.

John
