the hawkfan 12 was gone when I called him (of course!), but there was a few
other thing's in stock.

I've now ordered stuff for 26 pounds, and I'm going to send this in cach to him.
There is not possible for me to change currency into smaller pieces than
L5-bills - and I think...

a) 4 pounds is too much to send extra, and
b) there is not polite to send only L25

so - question today is:
I was in UK '88 and have a few coins from that hot summer, ie a One Pound
golden (just the color, I presume) coin - Elizabeth II on head side/a crown
with green herbs (?!?) on flip side, dated 1984. Can I use this coin as a
Current Pound Sterling?

Or has the UK done like all the other countries I use to visit - change
their currency while I'm away for a decade or two?
