And of course, the whole thing is being taken out of context by the
public anyway.  This was part of Pearlman's mythology, the stuff that
evolved into the Imaginos story.  The fact that part of it takes
place in Nazi Germany is just part of the story.

"undine" is an elemental creature of water.

It's all tied in, but your average rock journalist isn't going to be
aware of these things, or know anything about the Pearlman mythos, and
just hears what sounds like an anthem for Nazi sympathizers.  I don't
doubt that Pearlman knew this, anticipated the public reaction, and
reveled in the controversey and the great cheap publicity it gave to
himself and the band.
