Btw, _Undine_ by the Baron de la Motte Fouqué was a favorite of Edgar
Allan Poe, who pushed it in some of his critical essays.  The only
English version I've found is geared to children, as a fairy-tale (which
it is, like much German Romanticism).

Still, I found it quite a good piece of work, very effective in the
creation of atmosphere.
