I am also an enormous Jeff Beck fan, but he did not open for Carlos
at the Gorge (summer of 1994).  THAT would have been one hell of a
show!  I wouldn't try to compare them, though.  Apples & Oranges,
if you will.  Jeff is a powerful Blues based British rocker, with alot of
Jazz/Fusion incorporated in doses.  Carlos Santana is, well, awfully
damned uplifting, I must say.  His music is charged with a positive
energy that electrifies everything...
