Actually, it is rigged for stereo, and, apart from a bit of ropey sound
during _Sense and Sensibility_, they do get decent prints.  But the best
thing is that the generally spartan turnouts means it's easy to see the
screen, instead of being stuck behind someone sporting a Marge Simpson
hairdo in an overcrowded auditorium. ;-)
