The scary thing is that in my class in secondary school was someone called
Malcolm Thompson who---as fate would have it---also played drums.  But the
REAL scary part is that he bore an *uncanny* resemblance to Hawkwind's own
Danny Thompson.  Maybe there was a high-level government project to seed
clone drummers named Thompson into the UK populace?

Does anyone have any biographical information on Danny Thompson??  (Jill???)
