HW: the Late News

ok - crawled out from beneath a pile of exam scripts and phoned C&D so
see what was going on (or not as the case may be).

SPACEHEAD album (Of Stars and Time) aptly named!
Apparently the DAT that was sent to EBS as a master tape was recorded
"out of phase".   Consequently they will need to do another one and the
release of this album has been delayed.  (Don't ask me about the
technical bits - I merely read my notes!!).   Probably 4-5 weeks so
an end of July or early August date looks more likely now.

HAWKWIND Ritual of the Solstice remixes has a release date of 24 June.
However this looks VERY unlikely since apparently they have added an
extra track - and the good/bad news is that the vinyl and CD will have
different tracks.

HAWKWIND single Love In Space is even more uncertain.

So.... they might have something out for the mini-tour, or they might
not.   The latter being most likely I suspect  8-)

However if they are still messing about in recording studios it could go
some way to explaining why various tour dates are being cancelled - it
doesn't sound like it's going to be the best prepared set of gigs!   In
fact the later shows may well be the best ones once the band has had
time to firm up their stage presentation.
