Further info update:

The presence of Hawkwind is not yet confirmed - negotiations are still
underway......

However the guy running the festival (Alex Duncan) apparently owns and
runs a recording studio from his Mum's farm and has many music contacts
with bands in the area.   He used to have his own band "Circle of Hands"
but this has broken up now.

They have had two previous festivals (the Summer Daze festivals) which
were successful and are putting on this one in the absence of
Glastonbury this year.   It was advertised in Melody Maker last week but
tickets probably won't be on sale until about 1st July - there may be a
London distributor.    Likely cost is aroudn 10.00 pounds.

The festival itself will be one day but they hope to have two stages and
several bands playing.   Camping will be free and it's likely that
people will be allowed to come in on Friday night and stay on until
Sunday morning.

More details will be available later (probably 1st week in July or so).
