THAT is ancient history. You don't hear that kind of talk nowadays, do you ?
Well, there still are some extremist religious groups, but hey, there are
extremists everywhere ! And one other thing : no matter what, Christians are
humans and, like all humans, they are bound to make mistakes. Some can get
blinded by their faith and that can lead to extremities (like the
Inquisition, among other things). Throughout history, a lot of non-Christian
also ended up showing off as Christians and that also explains a lot of
those acts. And there are many other reasons also, but we'd have to get
deeper into the differences between different kind of religious faiths, and
that would be even more off-topic. So let us just leave it at that and call
it quits. Though we can keep talking about this via private e-mail if some
of you feel like it...
