Not the way most people think of it (at least in the U.S.). In general,
what we call "techno" is not head music but gonad music. I have been to
a couple of clubs and I have seen on TV and heard plenny about what goes
on at raves (some raves, anyway), and it seems to me that most techno is
merely background noise for humping. [No, I didn't misspell "thumping",
though that's true too. :)] Ever heard of Lords of Acid?

Then again, I listen to ambient and ambient dub, which is certainly head
music, though some of it may have sexual undertones. So not all techno-
proper is gonad music.

At any rate, your experience with techno (as well as mine) is not in the
majority, though both you and I [aww, what the heck, the rest of BOC-L
can join in, too. :) ] certainly have the right to listen to techno in a
completely non-sexual way if we want to.

P.S.: Here we go again... :)
