More 80's/90's segue-ing into BOC/HW

We, the Seattlites, are long-since tired of the term "grunge."
It's a colloquialism that the national (US) media latched onto
to describe the revival punk sound that raised it's head here
during the mid-80's, but didn't break onto the "scene" until
Nirvana's "Nevermind" a few years later.  Soundgarden &
others were putting down the roots years earlier...

Music marches on everywhere, and despite where the media
has taken the "image", Alice In Chains & Soundgarden have
advanced the cause.  However, neither of them are BOC... =)
