   I read somewhere (time magazine I think) that there is a new
  express bus service which runs from London to Amsterdam (and Paris)
  starting this month.
   It said that the London-Amsterdam leg would take just four hours,
  which sounds remarkably quick to me. However it does cost about the
  same as flying (80-90 pounds).
