wav's from audio tapes - how to? / clone's poem

[VideoFest Berlin]

hi there,

does anybody has an idea or a nifty little software that helps me to
transfer audio clips from normal analogue tapes into WAV files?
It's pretty easy with CD's but I don't know how to add some Calvert clips
that are on tape(s) only.
I'd be grateful for any hint.

oh yes - and there's an updated piece on the calvert site - a new version of
'The Clone's Poem' aka the 2nd bit of 'Spirit of the Age'  - go there via
NEWS or LYRICS.
