Off the top of my head, I seem to remember Castenada's Little Smoke was
Los Humitos Mushrooms. Jimson Weed AKA Datura was quite a bloody BIG
smoke! It's also available over the counter in the UK in Potter's Asthma
Cigarette's so smoking has no huge effect. If you eat a Potter's Asthma
Cigarette, however, you are subject to a three-day bender, where you
lose it utterly. I've known two people try this stunt, both deeply
regretted it. One of them, came to his senses three days later naked but
for his underpants, in a Kwiky Mart, walking out with a tin of beans in
his hand. He can't remember the three days at all. Another friend had a
total fear experience. Camerars coming out of the floor, that kind of
thing. He was lying in the middle of the road at one in the afternoon,
waiting for the imagined bus to leave. He told me later that it was
worse than the Belladonna Milkshake he had at Stonehenge '83!

Another friend was out in the African bush with a couple of other
travellers he met out there. One night this German girl eats some
datura. Again, she loses it big time, thrashing about, screaming etc.
Her friend was baby-sitting, so after a while my friend goes off to
sleep somewhere. He woke up a bit later with this girl astride him and
her bare ass *just* about to land on his face!

If you're into Ethno-botany, shamanism or the works of Casteneda or
McKenna, hey, I'd *still* leave this one alone! If you're looking for a
recreational hit, I'd stick with what you know and give this sucker a
wide berth!
