There ya go! Same with me and HW, though I enjoy most all the HW
posts. As AB said, the HW fans on the list are cool and say cool
stuff...

Right! Just what were they expecting in way of BOC news anyway?
They said tour info, but that's avail. from a web page. Unknown
Subscriber: there ain't no BOC news! If BOC ever shakes off its
self-imposed catatonia, that'd be news. If EB ever really sings
again, that's news. The problem with discussing BOC, is that almost
anything you can say will be negative:
Lack of new album
EB's vocal problems
Lack of vision within the group and management
Spotty tour info
Reluctance to patch things up with Al
Playing tiny gigs with no press

What have I left out?

BTW,
Next weekend, BOC will play in front of about 30,000 fans, but as a
support group at a gig with about 5 other bands. Their positioning
before another support group, Matchbox 20 [whom I've never heard of!]
on a gig headlined by Little Feat [a band I really like, but they
aren't exactly playing football stadiums either] tells volumes about
the band's fortunes these days. And, as fans will be drifting in all
day, I don't know how much of that huge throng will be present for
BOC, but it should still be a huge number. And upstate New York is a
BOC stronghold, and since the gig costs a whopping 5 bucks to get in,
I expect quite a crowd for this sprawling outdoor fest. I'll have my
camera gear with me, so stay tuned, kids...
