Possibly they aren't interested in a small album deal and won't
put good effort to waste on a project for which the outcome will be
a collectors item for the current fan base?     Maybe they just
want to "do it right or not at all".

One reason they're in place is to protect local merchants.  Prohibiting
Sunday shopping allows local mom n pop shops to close for one
day a week without the threat of losing sales to major retailers
and malls.
