Interesting interview with an Me262 test pilot on UK TV last night in a
prog about the Sound Barrier. I didn't catch his name, but he said that
one of the other test pilots, Mutke, claimed to have broken the sound
barrier in an Me262. The interviewee didn't believe it, though, because he
reckoned that the riveting and bodywork weren't built to withstand the
vibration.

There were a few nice shots of Me262s in flight as well - I should have
video'd it.
