CATHEDRAL - OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Cosmic rock masters Cathedral will literally be in
outer space by the end of the year. Everybody's
favourite doomers will be blasted into the cosmos as
part of NASA's space exploration programme, with
the music and lyrics from the 'Supernatural Birth
Machine' included in the Huygens satellite launch
taking place in October. The project is based around
the Titan satellite which is intended to gather
information about the planet Saturn, reckoned by
scientists to be the planet most likely to contain
viable life forms other than our own. If the research
is true, and other life forms are uncovered, several
items will be included as offerings from earth to any
potential alien discovering the satellite and wishing to
make contact with earth. Such things as messages,
news items, videos and music will be placed on a
special CD-Rom should any life form from another
galaxy intercept the mission.Few bands could be
more apt than Cathedral for a space journey - singer
Lee is well known for his interest in science fiction,
and with the band's eccentric style and spaced out
image they could now truly be called cosmic rockers!
The band will also beat ZZ Top, who have booked
themselves on the first passenger trip to the Moon, to
the honour of being the first band in space.
