this that same old prog cliche, you could dig yourself into a hole trying to analyze why. when I attend Progfest in Los Angeles, you are talking some serious gender imbalance.

Actually the 2 bands represented by this list are 2 of the least sexist I know of. BOC lyrics, which is why I like the band, are excellent and non-sexual. they do deal in sarcasm though, and should be taken tongue in cheek at times. HW is very non-sexist, they are for all to enjoy or not. I have never seen images from these bands of the kind your basic rockin' metal or glam band have.

As far a "nekkid chicks" on stage go, that was the times (for better or worse) Hell if I was at Stonehenge or the Space Ritual show and winging around on a few tabs of quality LSD, who knows what could happen (yikes!). Grateful Dead shows are known for naked dancing, even COPULATION at times! All that "Hippie Shit" as someone said. Nik's comment about sure you can dance, but you gotta be naked, is out of line in any time. However she didn't see a problem eith it, and danced naked. Plus everybody was all fucked up and everything was beautiful, being naked was beautiful, I really can't see it as exploitation.

However being a male I am oblivious to what a woman might think about it. Which is why it's a good thing to hear these things from the woman's perspective.
