Not to get too far off the subject, but I think the movie referred to
above is Godzilla 1985. To set the record straight, it was NOT an
American Godzilla movie. In fact, until now, there never has been an
American Godzilla movie.  Confusion was probably caused by
Raymond Burr's appearance in G-'85. However, like all those other Japanese
monster flicks, the footage of American actors was shot IN America,
exclusively for the U.S.  release. The movies, as made in Japan,
did not star Raymond Burr or any other occidental actors/actresses.

Ditto for Russ Tamblyn in War of the Gargantuas! : )

One last note for today...I'm glad I could stir up some discussion
about Joe...and I'm pleased so many people have positive things to
say about him. During our  brief meeting, I thought he was a great
guy. Hey Al, please tell him thanks for the autograph! And by the
way, Al...yours is the only John Hancock I'm missin'!
