OK OK The way to wire a plug in the UK.

BLUE to the left   (i.e. bL = left)
BROWN to the right (i.e. bR = right)
Green and Yellow to the middle

ignore the "b" and the colour itself tells you where it goes

lue to the left
rown to the right
