But if the sound of the first LP really catches your mind's ear, the
Stalk-Forrest Group recordings are pretty darn cool--they capture the
jangly, menacing country feel of Redeemed and IOtL...S.  That and Dharma's
guitar has some tasty firebreathing going down (What is Quicksand? and Gil
Blanco County take the cake, though you can't fault Bonomo's Trukish Taffy
for the way cool SPanish(?) middle section and rockin' groove riff).
