OFF: Blues tape

Talking to a friend in the pub the other night and he was telling me of
a cassette tape that was issued in the mid 70s(?) consisting of outtakes
and sound checks by various blues/rock guitar players such as Eric
Clapton, Peter Green ummmm - others (I forget who now!). Apparently
this was a genuine commercial release that someone had put together in
a recording studio with these guys who just happened to be in the studio
together and jamming around while they were doing soundchecks before
their various recording sessions. I don't know if it was ever issued
on vinyl but I was wondering if anyone here (by some remote chance)
either recognised what this was or knew of a place I could ask about it.

Since it was a commercial release and not a bootleg I guess there
should have been/still be copies around for purchase. Apparently it
was a wonderful sounding tape with all these guys playing a really laid
back and relaxed sound - can anyone suggest a place to look?
