Is there anyway you can make this stop. I received what seems like a
thousand lines of this after your post. Certainly not as interesting as
your post. Thanks.

JS>Well, I like to *think* so. Part of this characterization comes from
the
fact that, well I have a confession - I like Veruca Salt. Now, most of
this band's fans appear to be 14-17 year old girls, and I've dropped in
on a web message board (very similar to Jack Heffling's most-excellent
BOC discussion board), and I find I can't relate too well to alot of the
fans posting there. They talk about make-up, how much they hate their
schoolwork, their parents (some of them obviously have some rather,
IMHO,
f**ked-up family situations which has really warped their views of the
world), and how f**king awesome their favorite band is in ways that have
little or nothing to do with the band's musical output. Reading that
stuff definitely makes me feel like an "old fart".

Ah I can relate to that. Chat rooms are dangerous for anybody over 25.
I entered one once and listened for a while. All these kids were
seeking advice from a 21 year old. I posted some stuff about this kids
trouble's in school, told them how old I was (certified old fart) and
they gathered around me like it was story time. Christened me "Pops".
In any event What does Veurca Salt sound like? I always loved that name
for a band but never found any of their stuff in a bargain bin to
sample. Are they an all female band?

Ted>actually, I have a Real Audio file version of 'Freedom' and an
MP3 version of 'I Change My Mind'......I was never successful
in finding a copy of either the "A Box" or "Looking For Love"
singles.....

Ok so you're just a lucky duck as opposed to "Lucky Duck!" I'd love to
get that Box single, different version from Ear Candy. During the EC
tour Ty played it the way it is on the single and it was easily one of
the best songs of the night. Atlantic really blew it when the re-mixed
the Ear Candy cd, should have retained the original version.

take you. You may find yourself halfway around the world in shark
infested waters of true to life living or you may find yourself going
down to the store for a lozenge. You can't know can you? No, you got
to ride that wave, you got to suck that lozenge. Because if you don't,
