Unless maybe they took the time off to record a disc, and came
roaring out to support it with a decent tour, eh?

I don't know how many times I have to say it, but here goes again:
Eric's my favorite singer. Period. It just kills me to see him
performing at less than full strength, and I'm genuinely concerned
for him and the band. I never said he wasn't a good person [leave
that up to Deb!]. Even if his voice is just tired [anybody heard
Ozzy lately?] it still doesn't explain his lack of showmanship lately
and his abrogation of his role as frontman in the band. I'm not
trying to hit him while he is down. Nothing would please me more
than seeing EB roam the stage with his menace of old, and his
devilishly macabre voice enticing the crowd once again. And either
way, I'll still show up at any BOC gig within a hundred miles--make
that 3 hundred...
