IRC or somesuch thing?

Hi all once again (3 times in the last five minutes)

        Has anyone ever considered ever meeting on an IRC channel or something
like that to have a bit of a chattie? I do remember someone mentioning this
a year ago, but wasn't too sure of IRC at that time. Does anyone still do
this? I have set up a Hawkwind thingie on IRC sometimes, but with no really
response.
        Anyone interested?
