Mellotron Archive in financial trouble...

Sorry for the spamming post, but this is important!

I was perusing the latest copy of KEYBOARD magazine at the local supermarket this evening, when my eyes beheld a BEAUTIFUL sight! Vintage keyboards of every shape and size, Moogs, ARP's, Buchla's, Mellotrons (even a clear one!), Chamberlains, keyboard-controlled Theremins, you name it, it was there! An analog synth freak's (that's me!!!) wet dream! But then the title of the article hit me, the Mellotron Archive is in financial difficulty. It seems that the two gents that put together this fine collection cannot afford to pay the monthly rent on the space needed for all of these fine old pieces and is looking for a sponsor to help keep the collection together (they don't want to sell the collection board by board, but do make a few bucks here and there renting out the keys). Me, well, maybe I can afford to buy a T-shirt or something from them to help 'em out, but it is tough enough making the monthly note on the house. Maybe some of you out there might be able to help in some way (Sure would be nice if one of the modern synth manufacturers could sponsor this endeavor, any of you guys work for one/know a rep?). You can find out more from their Web site which is:

www.mellotron.com

I haven't checked out this site yet, but as soon as I finish with this letter...

Note, I am doing this because I think what they have put together should stay together and not for any other reason. Hell, if I hit the Lottery this weekend, I'll send 'em a few grand, but thats' the only way I can help these guys. Pass this info around if you think you know of a newsgroup or mailing list that might be of help or interest. Thanks for letting me bend your eyes.
