BOC - Al use of a gas mask??

Can anyone (preferably Al) confirm or deny this? The following post was
recently posted to USENET:

"Even though it's really hard to think about much of anything, what with the
terrible news about Ricky, I decided I had better post this before I forget
it.
About a week ago, I met a fellow at a really cool used record store who was
a big fan of B C around the Secret Treaties era... he had a lot to say about
the laser show that was to come later, but he also mentioned something I
thought was interesting about Albert Bouchard when they did Me262 during the
Agents of Fortune and Spectres tours: he said that somewhere towards the
end of the song (presumably after the five guitars), Albert would be wearing
a German style gas-mask. Eventually, rockets would shoot from either side
of Al's drums, and he would then take the mask off and throw it into the
crowd. He claimed to have actually had one of these masks for a time, and
as a kid had painted the Kronos symbol on the front of it with blue paint
(and, of course, since lost it somewhere along the line).
I guess my question is, can anyone else substantiate this? If so, I really
think it ought to be added to the BOC FAQ... I think this has to be at least
as interesting as where it mentions that they used to use colored lights in
ETI during the "queen in yellow and king in red" line..."
