Depends *which* Masters of the Universe. There were about 5 I think at
the last counting. Could even be more.

It may be the genuine official release of all the guff that has been
going around in reissue format for years - perhaps this is a gathering
together of everything, for one final issue, and the other reissues will
now cease. Has anyone checked against the discography to see if all
the various titles relating to 'In The Beginning' 'Masters of the
Universe' 'Text of Festival' and 'Yuri Gagarin' (I think that's all)
have been covered in this issue?

But as far as other stuff like endless Acid Daze are concerned, I just
wish that there was some way we could get together a group of the
Koncerned Friends of the Hawkwind Kollectors Klub - or maybe even just
the Koncerned Kollectors Klub (KKK) and lobby the record shops to say
"Hey guys - you really don't want to be stocking your shelves with this
stuff". On the other hand this is exactly the kind of situation that
would make an excellent TV documentary - especially since there have
already been several programmes on the inequities of album distribution
and Hawkwind seem to be a prime example of how a band can lose out
through a confusion of copyright, distribution, availability of cheap
CDs compared the vastly expensive official releases etc. etc. I guess
we could even form our own independent TV documentary company, hire a
few cameras and do a Public Service documentary ourselves......

Just my contributory thought for Christmas!
