Clancy "Krugan" Brown (marvelous underatted talent) was the drill
instructor who took the Troopers through boot camp.  Unyeilding  and
forceful.  His was a small role but IMHO the best acting job in the
whole movie.  It is also "Krugan" who becomes the hero at the end of the
movie as he is the one who actually captures the brain eating bug.  Mike
Ironside was a teacher and later a Lt..  Typical good performance for
him too.  Everyone else might as well have been manequins.
