The crowd noises are just there as a "sound," and I'm sure they aren't meant
to anyone into thinking it's a live track.  I suppose a comparable effect
would be the crowd clapping/cheering heard on studio and live versions of
"Out of the Shadows".  I think it's interesting the way Brock has used
samples of audience noise in the same way one would use a sample of any
other sound effect.
