i see yer point too, but i have been to lots of gigs that sounded
great on the spot, but on listening to the recording, wondered how i
managed to stick out the duration of the show.  the difference that
volume and ambience makes is pretty incredible sometimes..
i mean, even poor quality _recordings_ sound tolerable if you put
them thru a powerful- enuff system...
