According to Bolle, Be My Baby was - as you say - a number they did at
soundchecks/rehearsals, and there is a recorded version. He also told me
they only ever played it once on stage and, unfortunately, it was a
disaster because there was a problem with the band's monitors and
consequently Eric couldn't hear himself singing - leading to a serious
out-of-tune situation!
