HW: Current Hawk Situation

     Nor I!  I play a lot of bass these days since whenever there's a
jam session there's also about a million guitar players (actually, most
recently I played a lot of _drums_ since there's an even greater
shortage of drummers!).  But I'm really a transplanted guitar player
and tend to treat the bass like a guitar (either follow the riff or
solo like a bastard :) and generally use a pick.  Never learned any
proper bass technique (nor guitar technique for that matter!).

     Playing and singing together is tough on me--I _can_ do it, but
er ... not well :)  It would need practice.  Although, for the stuff
that Lemmy did in HW or MH I can about keep up with since he mostly
wallops away on the root or a chord while singing, it seems to me :)
Not that I can sing very well :)
