There was also (Court) pressure from a foreign government (could have
been Burma) because the rebels had been sending PGP encrypted stuff out
by remailer. Also some dissidents living abroad had published critiques
of the government by anon remailer. They wanted their addresses abroad
and Jurt reckoned that lives might be in danger. In light of that, you
can see the responsibility he must have felt when the Scientologists
forced the revelation of *any* information from his database.
