Very weird - I sent some posts to BOC-L yesterday that never made it. Huh.
Oh well, there tends to be this odd lag of some sort sometimes - but over a
day??

Anyway:

This is a special flick IMO - particularly Dan O'Bannon's obvious pre-Alien
idea (the balloon alien in the hallway!). Not to mention that wonderful
soundtracvk "Benson Arizona" - and surfing into that nebula on a piece of
debris in the end...

I rented it once and my friend hated it, and subsequently me for ruining
their evening. I think its a cool film best viewed alone :) One of the few
films where the abridged version is best - and that in itself can be a real
drag from time to time!
