OFF: Star Wars Trailer

Just heard that Lucas is only going to allow the new one to be seen in as
many venues as the original.  I presume the reasons for this are
many, but think that primarily:

1. Generate HUGE crowds and minor ticket-skirmishes for maximum
media coverage.

2.  Shoot for the record as longest running movie in history.

3.  Charge the hell out of the venues for the priviledge of being one of the
few places to offer the movie, likely forcing theatres to temporarily
raise the price of admission.

Just a guess...

(No need to worry about spoilers from me, I will wait for the vid or at
best, the re-shows.)
