Sure I do care, since I disagree about Yes :-)
'Talk' and 'Open Your Eyes' are their best since 'Going For The One'.

Relaxed and surprisingly non-pretentious as never before, Yes
extracted the best of their sound - especially because not having to
proove and explain who and what they are to anyone. And also finally
they overcame the "progressive" complex.

And the same applies to all the performers you mentioned. In the 80's
it was different - a lot of them were subdued by  "post baby-boomers"
which disdained album orientation, and were strictly (pop!) hit single
oriented. To such set of rules it was difficult for 70's album bands
to adjust.

Situation changed in the beginning of 90's, with Zepp sound revival
and the grunge explosion.
