Give him a hearing test, and when he doesn't acknowledge the high-pitched
sounds it could be because he hears them all the time now.... ;-)

My ears ring all the time, but I'm very good at tuning it out.  Doesn't
seem to otherwise effect my hearing.  I wore neon pink firing range ear
plugs to the last BOC show. Maybe that's why I though Buck wasn't playing
loud enough? ;-)
