Cyclone blows down Tree in Brainstorm

Can a Tree control a Cyclone? Apparently so if the Tree in question is called Ron and the Cyclone is the name of his audio generator.

Built from aerospace parts (let's hope it doesn't end in an Aerospaceage Inferno:-)), it consists of 8 oscillators, 2 white noise generators, a Pulse Width Modulator and a 16 channel mixer. There is also a patch board and a 5W monitor amp with headphone socket. It can be controlled like a Theremin, which means that Ron can wave his hands near it to control pitch and volume. This should give a good on-stage effect knowing how Ron likes to perform.

It was built for Hawkwind last year by Hawkfan Steve S. who named it 'The Cyclone' because it blows your mind. Ron should be using the Cyclone on the next tour later this year.

Ron would also like to buy a second bass guitar, and asks if any fans out there would like to help finance this by buying his robot, which was used on the Alien tour. If you're interested in helping him out, check the details at the Mission Control web site on http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~hwind/. You could then claim to have influenced the next Hawkwind sound...
