Everyone has heard of the Simon Williams Mandragora, they have a brand new
album called 'Pollen' and they are travelling straight from UK to make this
gig in Belgium.

Tribe of Cro, the psych-trippy band from Brighton, is coming with them to
enhance the pleasure!

Third band of the night, Aum is this Spacerock, Gonguesque, Ozrician band
with tentacles everywhere. They are playing on their ground as they are
actually coming from Liege in Belgium.

It's happening in Liege, in Belgium, in Europe (for those who don't know
about geography).

For those who understand french, here is a little text to present the event.

L'évolution musicale constante de Mandragora depuis les débuts dans les
années '80 en a fait une référence incontournable dès qu'on évoque le
néo-psych ou le spacerock.
Pour aborder le tournant du millénaire, Mandragora s'est donné un nouveau
souffle : "Pollen", sorti en '98 sur Delerium, révèle en effet une facette
du talent de Simon Williams qu'il qualifie de "world dance".
L'orientation actuelle les rapproche de Suns of Arqa ou Afro Celt Sound
System par un apport dance/techno/dub/drum 'n' bass aux multiples
influences ethniques déjà présentes dans les atmosphères envoûtantes du
rock spatial arabisant de Mandragora.

Global music to dance your head off to !

Tribe of Cro vient d'enchaîner une mini-tournée en Allemagne et
l'enregistrement du quatrième album. Les atmosphères trippy
jazz/kraut/spacerock constituent toujours l'essentiel, mais le groupe s'est
dirigé vers un dark ambient plus structuré.

Cro business for cro people !

Faut-il encore présenter Aum ? De retour d'une tournée intergalactique qui
les a éloignés six mois des scènes de la Terre, le groupe liégeois fait sa
rentrée en '99 sur la scène de La Zone, avec son spacerock coloré
d'influences de Gong et d'Ozric Tentacles.

Dany et Gulu, les DJ d'Indica Sound System seront aux commandes du vaiseau
pour appareiller dans la nuit vers des horizons inconnus peuplés de
créatures cosmiques.
