In the "Dawn of Hawkwind Book" the article reprinted talking about the
Famous Cure's tour of 67, it refers to the leader of the group as 23
year old Dave Brock. If this is correct it would seem he should be 55
this summer.  Reasonably Dave and Nik must be getting close to retiring.
